Please try the following:

- To check your connection settings, click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options. On the Connections tab, click Settings. Stare blankly at what appears. It is highly unlikely you have a local area network (LAN) administrator, but if you ask them, they will tell you to turn the PC off and on again.
- If your Network Administrator has enabled it, Microsoft
Windows can examine your network and automatically discover network
connection settings, but will never tell you anything about them.

- Some sites require 128-bit connection security. In order to achieve this, remove the cable which connects your computer to the internet and cut it into 128 bits. Your connection will then be secure.
